Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based on-site in North Augusta. The Civil Engineer will plan, design, and oversee municipal infrastructure projects, including streets, water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage systems, and other public facilities. Daily responsibilities include preparing engineering plans and specifications, reviewing development proposals, performing site inspections, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The role will involve stormwater management analysis, coordination with contractors and consultants, and collaboration with city departments to support long-term planning and capital improvement projects. The Civil Engineer will also address citizen inquiries related to public works and infrastructure and contribute technical expertise to support city leadership in decision-making.
