About the Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Tampa, Florida. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting civil site design projects across the region, from concept through completion. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and project management experience to deliver high-quality work that meets client expectations and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and contribute to the design of land development and civil site projects, including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management.
• Prepare and review engineering plans and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including zoning codes and permitting requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Supervise junior staff and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design accuracy and quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field from an accredited program.
• Engineer (EI) certification required; PE license or currently on track for PE is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil site design or related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential.
• Strong knowledge of land development regulations, zoning, stormwater management, and permitting processes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project demands.
• Experience developing and tracking project schedules and budgets.
