Job Title: Project Engineer - Land Development & Water

My client, a growing civil engineering consulting firm with a strong reputation in land development, is seeking a Project Engineer to join their Tampa office. This role is ideal for a motivated engineer with experience in site design, grading, utilities, and stormwater management.

The firm offers a dynamic and collaborative culture, perfect for an engineer who enjoys problem-solving, expanding technical skills, and taking on project ownership over time.

Responsibilities:

1. Support design and coordination for site development projects, including grading, utilities, and stormwater systems
2. Prepare construction documents, stormwater calculations, and permit submissions
3. Collaborate with clients, attend municipal meetings, and assist in project approvals
4. Work closely with Project Managers and subconsultants to ensure timely and accurate deliverables

Qualifications:

1. B.S. in Civil Engineering
2. 4+ years of civil/site design experience
3. EIT preferred (FE passed); PE track encouraged
4. Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
5. Strong understanding of site grading, utility layout, and stormwater design
6. Team-oriented with a proactive problem-solving approach
