Now seeking a dynamic Civil Engineer to join our team in Port St. Lucie, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and civil engineering background in Private, Public site and Civil Engineering Design. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal capital improvement projects.

Location: Port St. Lucie, FL 34946

Salary: 90K – 115K (based on experience)

Required

• 3D Civil is REQUIRED must know how to read and open CAD files.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Professional Engineers (P.E.) License and Valid Driver’s License
• Perform and check calculations (storm-water management, potable water distribution, sanitary sewer collection and transmission)
• Prepare specifications and drawings.
• Design of land development infrastructure including roadways, water, sewer, and drainage
• Interface with fellow clients, engineers, CAD drafters, and other disciplines.
• Prepare site construction cost estimates.
• Review, correct, and approve shop drawings and other material specifications.
• Attend and participate in meetings with client(s) and internal staff.
• Deliver project technical documents.
• Maintain a high level of organization and technical competency.
• Construction Inspection Services
• Private and Public Site and Civil Engineering Design, Including Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Municipal Capital Improvement projects.
• Familiar with Local, State, and Federal Permitting Agencies
• Proficient in Verbal and Written Communication and Competencies
• 5 years’ Experience

Preferred / Nice to have

• Software Experience with MS Office, MS Project, Excel, I.C.P.R. (Preferred) A.S.A.D. (Preferred)
• Would entertain an EI, would have to have 4-5 years of experience and close to getting P.E.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal communication skills coupled with a friendly demeanor.
• Display a keen enthusiasm for generating and pursuing business opportunities.
• Strong self-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
