Design Hire is seeking a Civil Engineer to support land development and infrastructure projects from design through permitting and construction. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical design skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include preparing design plans, coordinating with clients and regulators, and supporting documentation and QA to ensure compliance with codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent in Civil Engineering.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities needed.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams is a plus.

• Develop grading, drainage, utility, and roadway designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Assist with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, storm-water management, and erosion control plans.

• Support project documentation, cost estimates, and construction administration tasks.
• Contribute to quality assurance and adherence to design standards and local codes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• EIT certification or PE license preferred
• Min 5 years of experience in civil/site design and permitting
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D (HydroCAD experience a plus)
• Familiarity with storm-water, grading, and utility design standards
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
