Overview

As a Civil Engineer for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), in our Naperville, IL office, you'll work with project teams to create land development plans for our commercial, institutional, and residential clients. From an urban redevelopment site, industrial sites, to a new school project, you'll take part in designing site layouts, grading plans, storm water management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utilities. Interacting with clients, contractors, local government officials, you'll impact the whole project - from conceptual and design phases, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction, all the way to the grand opening.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related technical field
• 0+ years' of experience
• Previous internship preferred
• Engineering in Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification preferred
• Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D
• Willingness to learn new skills and work in a team setting
• Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats
• Experience and knowledge of commercial real estate site design is a plus

The posting range for this position is between $63,148 - $105,570 based on experience and location (in addition, CEC offers overtime pay and other great benefits).
