Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our Everett, WA team. You will design, plan, and oversee civil construction projects, coordinating with clients, PMs, and staff to meet deadlines and budgets.

You should have a Civil EIT, a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, and 2+ years of design experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and AutoCAD Civil is required. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits in a dynamic office environment.

• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders on requirements and constraints.

• Provide guidance to junior engineers and team members.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Participate in development and implementation of engineering standards and procedures.

Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in the Engineering industry. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Design and develop plans, specifications, and estimates for various civil engineering projects, such as water and wastewater systems, roadways, and underground utilities.
• Use Auto Desk Civil 3D and AutoCAD Civil software to create 3D models, drawings, and other design documents.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that construction projects are in compliance with design specifications, codes, and regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to identify project requirements, goals, and constraints.
• Prepare and submit reports, proposals, and other documentation related to civil engineering projects.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
• Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Participate in the development and implementation of engineering standards, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Civil EIT certification required.
• 2+ years of experience in civil engineering design and construction.
• Proficient in Auto Desk Civil 3D, AutoCAD Civil, and other relevant software.
• Experience with water and wastewater systems, roadway design, and underground utilities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
