engineeringjobs.net, Inc. seeks a Civil Scope Engineer to develop and maintain field-ready civil scope by translating site data, design assumptions, estimates, and permit requirements into executable work in Bedminster Township, NJ.

You will coordinate across engineering, estimating, construction, environmental, safety, quality, and commercial teams, manage scope risks and quantities, and support clarifications, handoffs, and lessons learned.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting civil engineering, construction, project engineering, estimating, pre-construction, or field execution.
• Ability to interpret civil drawings and technical requirements; coordinate stakeholders; identify and escalate risks or scope gaps.

Job description

Develop and maintain clear, complete, traceable, field-ready civil scope by translating site data, design assumptions, estimates, contract and permit requirements, and customer commitments into executable work. Coordinate across engineering, estimating, construction, environmental, safety, quality, and commercial teams; manage scope risks and quantities; support project clarifications and handoffs; and capture lessons learned.

Requirements:

Candidates need experience supporting civil engineering, construction, project engineering, estimating, pre-construction, or field execution; interpreting civil drawings and technical requirements; coordinating project stakeholders; and identifying and escalating risks or scope gaps. The role requires the ability to travel 25% of the time; a civil engineering degree, PE or EIT credential, and utility-scale energy or heavy civil experience are preferred.
