Job summary

TYG is seeking a Project Engineer in Austin, Texas, to advance water and wastewater projects with a people-first culture emphasizing collaboration and growth. The role focuses on design, modeling, and delivering sustainable infrastructure while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will work with project managers to manage schedules, technical tasks, and documentation, helping shape the future of water/wastewater in Texas and progress toward leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering field.
• Texas P.E. license or ability to obtain via reciprocity; E.I.T. considered; 5–10+ years of experience in water/wastewater.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Assist with planning, modeling, and infrastructure design (pipelines, pump stations, distribution systems).
• Collaborate with project managers on schedules, technical tasks, and documentation.
• Contribute to mentoring junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal water regulations.
• Provide sustainable, innovative solutions for public and private clients.
