Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design, Irvine, CA, is seeking an Engineering Designer II to contribute to energy, residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use land development projects. You will prepare drawings, grading plans, utilities, and reports using AutoCAD Civil 3D under senior guidance.

Strong communication and detail orientation are essential. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 2–4 years in site/civil work; EIT is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 2-4 years of site/civil land development experience.
• EIT preferred.
• Knowledge of local land use processes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction drawings, plan sheets, details, and exhibits.
• Develop grading plans, street improvements, utilities and details.
• Ensure technical accuracy and proper documentation of plans and reports.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers for execution.
• Perform basic stormwater calculations and reporting.
• Plot and assemble civil engineering plans and reports.
• Support other departments with engineering and technical needs.
• Contribute to project success within budgets and deadlines.
