Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Albuquerque, NM office is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 2+ years of experience to join their Land Development team. This is an on-site position.

You will perform site development engineering and project management tasks, complete site civil design and permitting, and use AutoCAD Civil 3D while gaining mentorship and exposure to plan production and client interactions. Responsibilities also include research, coordination, cost estimating, and preparing bid packages

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) required.
• Engineer-In-Training certification or ability to obtain within 12 months preferred.
• 2+ years experience with a civil engineering design firm required.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for a variety of projects.
• Complete site civil design, permitting, and use relevant software including AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Work on land development site designs and coordinate with clients and staff.
• Assist with research, project management, staff coordination, cost estimating, and permitting for land disturbance.
