Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Raleigh office is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 2+ years of experience to join their Renewables Structures team. This non-remote role offers mentorship and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions.

The ideal candidate will have ABET-accredited civil engineering education and proficiency with structural analysis software, along with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of civil engineering design experience.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with ability to contribute to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Work on bridges, retaining walls, and other structural design for public/private projects in Raleigh.
• Prepare bridge/structural plans, specs and estimates for clients.
• Receive on-the-job training, mentorship, and exposure to plan production and client interactions.
