Kimley-Horn's Baltimore office is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 2+ years of experience to join their Renewable Energy team. This position offers the chance to work on significant projects such as solar site design and battery energy storage systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a civil engineering design firm.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Ability to obtain 'Engineer-In-Training' certification within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of civil engineering tasks.
• Receive on-the-job training and mentorship.
• Contribute to plan production and project financials.

Skills

2+ years experience with a civil engineering design firm

Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented

Strong sense of urgency

Ability to work independently and as a team

Education

Bachelors or Masters from an ABET accredited university in Civil Engineering
