Job summary

RESPEC is seeking a Civil EIT to join our Fairbanks, Anchorage, Palmer, Soldotna, and Juneau, AK offices. You will assist in designing civil projects across multiple disciplines in Alaska, gaining broad hands-on experience within RESPEC’s Transportation Market Sector.

The role is ideal for an energetic candidate working toward EIT certification, with opportunities to contribute from day one and advance within a 100% employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Engineer-in-Training or the ability to obtain within one year.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
• Self-motivated, energetic, and able to take on new tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Detail oriented & well organized with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of various civil engineering projects in Alaska offices.
• Contribute to multidiscipline design and construction projects.
• Grow professionally within RESPEC’s Transportation Market Sector.
• Support preparation of design drawings and calculations as needed.
