Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Civil Designer to support our Site Civil Engineering Business Line. The role focuses on civil/site infrastructure, grading, drainage, and stormwater design within a collaborative Power Delivery team.

The candidate will contribute to AutoCAD Civil 3D drawings, with basic MicroStation skills, and engage with multiple design teams to meet project deadlines. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience, strong English communication, and is capable of independent work while

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant post-education experience with drafting and design support.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D sheet sets, topographic models, and grading modeling.
• Ability to self-check own work for completeness and accuracy.
• Willing to coordinate with team members to meet project needs.
• Flexible to changes in project assignments as needs evolve.
• Strong written and oral English communication to collaborate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide drafting and design support for civil/site infrastructure projects.
• Contribute to site layout, grading, drainage, and stormwater design.
• Develop Civil 3D drawings and Civil Drawing Packages; basic MicroStation use.
• Collaborate with project teams to align on scope and due dates.
• Maintain high quality and efficiency in line with project scope.
• Communicate work schedules clearly to project teams.
