LaBella Associates in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Civil Designer to support public infrastructure projects, including roadway, stormwater, and utility designs. You will produce drawings, participate in site visits, and assist senior engineers.

This entry‑level role requires a BA in Civil Engineering, 0–2 years of experience, and EIT or eligibility within 12 months. Civil 3D familiarity is a plus; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in preparing roadway, stormwater, and utility designs.
• Produce drawings, plans, cost estimates, and technical documents.
• Conduct site visits and assist with construction observation and data collection.
• Support senior engineers in evaluating design alternatives and solving technical challenges.
• Collaborate with teams across planning, environmental, surveying, and other disciplines.
• Engage in design training and mentoring activities that build technical foundation.

Salary Range:$68,000 - $72,000 per year

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location.
