Job summary

Jobot is seeking a civil engineer with 2–10 years of experience in street design, earthwork calculations, road design, site grading, drainage, and utilities. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required along with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Local ordinance knowledge and map interpretation skills are essential.

• 2–10 years of civil engineering experience.
• Experience with Street Design, Earthwork Calculations, Road Design, Site Grading, Drainage (Calculations & Reports), Sewer and Water Layout & Sizing.
• Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Knowledgeable in local ordinances as they apply to civil design and engineering.
• Ability to interpret tract maps, parcel maps, records of survey and legal descriptions.
• PE preferred or prepared to sit for licensing exam.

Responsibilities

• Design and contribute to civil engineering projects within Street Design, Earthwork, Road Design, Site Grading, Drainage and Utilities.
• Interpret plans, maps and legal descriptions to support project delivery.
• Collaborate with engineers and clients to ensure compliance with local ordinances and standards.
