Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology.
• EIT certification strongly preferred.
• 2+ years of experience designing land development projects using Civil 3D.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to interact directly with clients.
• Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize workflow independently.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and reliable time management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare routine design calculations and data for use by others in more complex engineering analyses and studies.
• Exercise independent judgment and decision‑making on design issues and concepts within an assigned scope.
• Draft project plans, specifications, exhibits, and reports; coordinate the work of other technicians as part of a project team.
• Prepare quantity and cost estimates, and use CADD tools to support construction plans and design considerations.
• Apply and follow company graphic standards with moderate proficiency in company design standards.
• Prepare permit applications and bid packages, and help ensure work stays within project schedule and budget.
• Take on occasional client contact and coordination, including attending project meetings with clients, agencies, or contractors.
• Communicate project status regularly to the Project Manager and assist in maintaining CADD standards and details.
