Job summary

Kiewit Power Engineering is seeking a mid-level Design Engineer in the United States. You will contribute to 2D/3D modeling, collaborate across the project team, and ensure design quality and safety across diverse power projects.

Based in Raleigh or other listed office locations, you will work in a drafting & design group with exposure to EPC delivery. The role offers comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Diploma in drafting technology and 3–5+ years of civil design experience or a combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in utilizing CAD programs such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D; related software familiarity is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of operating systems, spreadsheets, and databases; strong communication via email.

Responsibilities

• Assist with modeling in 2D and 3D, ensuring correct references and up-to-date model directories.
• Coordinate with project team using Project Database and report progress to Lead Designer.
• Review designs for safety, operability and maintenance; support knowledge-base creation.
