Job summary

Infinitek Limited partners with an established civil engineering consultancy in Florida to hire a Civil Designer. You will work on land development and civil infrastructure projects, developing drawings from concept to construction documentation with a focus on site development and permitting.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, own drawings, and expand skills in grading, drainage, utilities, and road design while working from Orlando or DeLand locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil engineering drafting/design experience.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.
• Experience with land development, site development, transportation or civil infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater and utility design.
• Experience preparing construction drawings and technical plans.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret engineering concepts, sketches and markups.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
• NICET certification is a plus; sustainable design/LEED knowledge is desirable.

Infinitek is partnered with an established civil engineering consultancy seeking a Civil Designer to join their growing design team in Florida.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil Designer or CAD professional looking to work on a diverse range of land development and civil infrastructure projects, while continuing to develop their technical skills within a collaborative engineering environment.

You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and design professionals, contributing to projects from initial concepts through to construction documentation and permitting. The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of your drawings and develop your knowledge across grading, drainage, utilities, roadway design and site development.

The Opportunity of Civil Designer

As a Land Development Designer, you will be responsible for producing accurate, high-quality civil design drawings and supporting the engineering team throughout project delivery.

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for someone with a strong civil design/drafting background who is comfortable working independently while collaborating with engineers and other members of the project team.

You’ll ideally have:

• 5+ years of civil engineering drafting/design experience.
