Job summary

Langan is seeking a CAD Designer to join its Bellevue, WA office. The role supports engineers by drafting plans using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS to deliver accurate construction documents for private sector clients.

You'll collaborate with engineers, perform site grading tasks, and help produce plans, sections, and utility layouts. The ideal candidate has 2+ years AutoCAD experience and a detail-oriented, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AutoCAD experience on land development projects (Civil 3D a plus).
• Detail-oriented with strong attention to drafting quality.
• Proactive organization, prioritization, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service mindset and responsiveness to the Firm’s needs.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and dependable; works well independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Draft detailed drawings, topographical profiles, and maps for planning and construction.
• Process survey data to produce ground contours and utility plans.
• Perform site grading and earthwork calculations using Civil 3D.
• Produce detailed drawings including plans, sections, and details (grading, drainage, utilities).
• Prepare erosion and sediment control reports and plans.
• Perform vehicle turning studies using AutoTURN or Vehicle Tracking software.
• Perform other duties as requested.
