Job summary

Egis is seeking a motivated Civil Design Engineer to join our Cork-based Development Infrastructure team. You will contribute to planning, design and delivery of residential and commercial developments across Ireland, working with senior engineers and project teams to deliver high-profile projects with private sector clients.

The successful candidate will bring strong drainage and infrastructure design experience, proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD, and a willingness to collaborate with local

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' relevant civil engineering experience.
• Experience in foul and surface water drainage design.
• Experience in watermain design.
• Experience using MicroDrainage or equivalent drainage modelling software.
• Strong working knowledge of Civil 3D.
• High level of competency in AutoCAD.
• Experience working to Uisce Éireann design and construction standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil engineering designs for residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
• Design foul water, surface water and watermain infrastructure networks.
• Produce drainage strategies, calculations and technical drawings.
• Prepare design reports, specifications and supporting documentation.
• Support planning, tender and construction-stage project activities.
