About the Role:

Our growing organization is seeking an energetic, highly motivated, and experienced Design Engineer with a strong background in Stormwater Management. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven professional to join a collaborative team and contribute to custom residential and engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the design of Stormwater Management and Sediment Control plans for the Custom Homes and Engineering Department
• Collaborate across multiple departments to ensure project milestones and deadlines are achieved
• Meet with clients and local agencies to review plans, documents, and project timelines
• Provide technical analysis to recommend design procedures, resolve design challenges, and develop efficient solutions
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Maintain high standards for accuracy, quality, and project documentation

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D in a civil engineering environment
• Strong knowledge of Water Resources Engineering
• Experience working on projects in Montgomery County and Prince George's County preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Familiarity with basic line drawings, architectural drawings, and landscaping plans
• Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
