Job Title: Civil Design Engineer

Salary: $56,900 - $94,900

Universal Technical Resource Services, Inc. (UTRS) is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join our team! We offer a collaborative work environment with a close-knit team, providing a range of engineering, management, and digital services to both public and private sectors. Our goal is to deliver high-quality, innovative, and technology-driven services on time and within budget.

This full-time position supports our Civil and Environmental Engineering Division. It is based in our Washington, NJ office, offering excellent benefits and flexible schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Design land development projects, including grading and drafting
• Design and draft environmental systems (water/wastewater)
• Prepare maps and drawings from survey data for engineering projects
• Coordinate project submissions with relevant agencies
• Maintain and organize project drawings, files, and related information
• Collaborate with team members and assist as needed

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, including grading, pipe networks, surfaces, alignments, profiles, and earthwork calculations
• Knowledge of site construction and local/state permitting processes (a plus)
• Professional License, EIT, or PE (a plus)
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience with civil engineering and surveying plan submissions
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adhere to CAD standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
