We are currently seeking a Civil Foreman with experience in Tower Construction, Antenna and Line Installations, Microwave Installations, and Tower Modifications. EasTex Tower is actively looking to add new members to our exciting and growing team. We are currently seeking a Civil Foreman with experience in Tower Construction, Antenna and Line Installations, Microwave Installations, and Tower Modifications. Successful candidates can look forward to an energetic, family-oriented atmosphere in a prosperous and expanding industry.

Essential Functions
  • Assist the Foreman in planning and scheduling work to efficiently utilize crew members and equipment.
  • Oversee crew activities, ensuring quality workmanship, safety, and schedule adherence.
  • Participate in all tasks required to build and install a site per customer specifications, including ground work, safety compliance, vehicle and equipment maintenance, etc.
  • Read and understand drawings, piping diagrams, job specifications, mounting specs, testing procedures, etc.
  • Work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Schedule and attend permit inspections with local authorities if required.
  • Lead tailgate safety meetings and ensure daily PPE inspections and safety protocols are followed.
  • Assist with preparing timesheets, expense reports, safety logs, and vehicle logs.
  • Maintain tools, vehicles, and trailers in good condition.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of tower operations through ongoing education.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Willingness to travel and work long hours, including weekends.
  • Mechanical inclination.

Supervisory Responsibility

The Civil Foreman in Training will initially develop leadership skills and is designed to oversee civil ground construction in the future.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Work in adverse weather conditions frequently.
  • Stand, walk, stoop, sit, and climb regularly.
  • Handle and feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
  • Lift, carry, and maneuver objects weighing 50 lbs or more regularly.
  • Must have good vision and the ability to focus.
  • Travel within the company's geographic area, with possible extended stays (3-6 weeks).
  • Use hand and power tools frequently.
Required Knowledge
  • Valid Driver’s License; ability to obtain a DOT physical; CDL Class A a plus.
  • Background check clearance for security purposes.
  • Knowledge of tower safety, fall protection, PPE inspection, and use.
  • Experience with tower construction, rigging, and related equipment.
  • Use of transits, compasses, and azimuth setting.
  • Certifications for forklifts and boom lifts.
  • Proficiency with basic hand and power tools.
