Job summary

International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) is seeking a Superintendent to oversee civil construction projects in North Atlanta and the surrounding Metro Atlanta area. The role requires leadership of site development, earthwork, utilities, roadway, or GDOT projects, with emphasis on delivering quality work safely and on schedule.

Responsibilities include coordinating crews and subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and ensuring compliance with GDOT standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil construction, site development, utilities, earthwork, roadway or GDOT projects.
• Ability to lead field operations and crews.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.
• Maintains safe, organized, and productive jobsite.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily field operations on civil and sitework projects
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials
• Maintain project schedules, quality standards, and jobsite safety
• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Work closely with Project Managers and clients
• Communicate with inspectors, engineers, and stakeholders
• Mentor and develop field personnel
• Ensure compliance with GDOT standards and local regulations
