Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Civil Construction Manager/Inspector to oversee quality assurance on diverse projects across the Omaha metro area. You will manage the quality program at project sites, read plans, interpret specifications, and coordinate inspections to ensure owner requirements are met.

The role emphasizes safety, schedule adherence, and strong collaboration with field teams. A valid driver’s license and 3–5 years of field experience are expected, with preferred certifications in ACI/OSHA.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience performing construction materials testing, observation, or construction administration.
• ACI Field Grade 1, Nuclear Gauge Safety Training, and OSHA10/OSHA30 preferred but not required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in construction-related field preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving history.
• Schedule flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the quality assurance program at the project site.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and codes.
• Initiate actions needed to keep construction progress on schedule.
• Solve on-site problems and situations regarding construction of the project and design modifications.
• Work in all types of terrain and weather conditions on project sites in various stages of construction.
• Identify and avoid potential hazards for workers and the public in and around project sites.
