Base pay range

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage a wide range of field construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing and supervising construction procedures, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, on time, and in compliance with all safety and quality standards, while adhering to budgetary constraints.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction, excellent organizational skills, and a proven ability to lead diverse teams toward successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall planning, coordination, and execution of civil construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Determine the necessary resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) for each phase of the project while maintaining strict budgetary control.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to define and confirm project specifications and requirements.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety procedures, regulations, and quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, change orders, and progress reports.
• Develop and manage construction operations schedules to ensure project deadlines are met and phases are completed on time.
• Supervise labor crews, mechanics, and other team members, providing direction and guidance when needed to ensure high-quality work.
• Provide regular updates to senior management, architects, and project owners on project status, risks, and progress.
• Ensure full adherence to health and safety standards, promptly reporting and addressing any issues or concerns.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience managing large-scale civil construction projects.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings.
• Deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management principles.
• Familiarity with quality standards and health and safety regulations in construction.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and construction/project management software (experience with Procore is highly preferred; familiarity with Foundation, Bid 2 Win, and Trimble is a plus).
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage and resolve issues effectively.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to work as a collaborative team player.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
  
  

Additional Experience (Preferred)

• Experience in concrete work, electrical work, sports field construction, and contract parking lot construction.
