Base pay range

$76,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Civil Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of field projects from start to finish. This person will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Job Summary

The Project Manager must be well versed in all construction methods and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills with a goal of ensuring all projects are delivered on time in compliance with all safety and quality requirements, without exceeding the budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall planning and coordination of civil construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Determine the resources needed (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, etc., to determine project specifications.
• Monitor and enforce safety procedures, compliance with regulations, and quality control standards.
• Review and approve project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, change orders, and progress reports.
• Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to meet deadlines.
• Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics, etc., and provide guidance when needed.
• Provide regular updates to senior management, architects, and owners on project status and progress.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report any issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience managing large-scale civil projects.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Familiarity with construction/project management software such as Procore, Foundation, Bid 2 Win, and Trimble is a plus.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Leadership abilities and team player mindset.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
