Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Project Manager in the civil construction sector to support scheduling, resource planning, and progress tracking across multiple sites. You will lead meetings, prepare reports, and ensure safety and quality controls are maintained.

The role requires 2+ years in civil construction project management, strong leadership and communication, and proficiency in PM software. Travel to project sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in project management within the civil construction industry.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficient in project management software, such as MS Project or Primavera, Procore, and Viewpoint.
• OSHA 30-hour certification.
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assists in developing project schedules, resource plans, and work breakdown structures.
• Leads daily and weekly progress tracking, ensuring milestones are met.
• Supports Contract administration to include RFIs, Notifications, Pay Applications, and client meetings.
• Leads the issuance of Purchase Orders and Subcontracts.
• Assists in review of invoices, purchase orders, and change orders.
• Supports cost tracking against project budgets and identifies variances for review.
• Coordinates subcontractor mobilization, safety compliance, and daily reporting.
• Maintains communication logs and follow up on outstanding actions and deliverables.
• Prepares meeting minutes, daily/weekly reports, and project documentation as needed by project.
• Ensures quality control checklists and safety records are updated.
• Conducts site walks with the Project Manager and Construction leads when visiting site.
• Monitors and audits safety compliance and verifies work progress reported.
