Based in Chicago, IL, the role supports a broad range of infrastructure projects with detailed record-keeping, site visits, and collaboration across project teams. A relevant degree and 3+ years of materials coordination experience are required.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3+ years of experience in materials coordination, procurement, or logistics within the construction or engineering industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management or ERP software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement, delivery, and inventory of construction materials for civil engineering projects.
• Track material usage and delivery schedules to ensure timely availability on job sites.
• Forecast material needs by collaborating with project managers, field staff, and procurement teams.
• Review material specifications and ensure compliance with project plans, codes, and standards.
• Maintain detailed records of material orders, receipts, and deliveries.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor material storage, usage, and quality.
• Support QA/QC efforts by ensuring material certifications and submittals are properly submitted and approved.
