This is a full-time, on-site Civil Construction Estimator role based in Charleston, SC. The Civil Construction Estimator will review civil drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports to prepare detailed quantity takeoffs for earthwork, utilities, stormwater systems, and related sitework. The role includes developing accurate cost estimates, assembling bids, and coordinating with project managers and field supervisors to validate production rates and construction methods. The estimator will obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing, maintain current unit costs, and update estimate templates and historical data. Day-to-day activities also include participating in pre-bid meetings, clarifying scope with clients and design teams, and supporting project handoff to operations to ensure alignment between estimates and field execution.
