Job summary

ECM Consultants, an Aventia Company, is seeking a Civil-Construction Engineer to perform a full range of engineering functions from assessments to design reviews. You will prepare plans and specs for construction, support health and safety across projects, and ensure quality assurance throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires leading teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and applying engineering concepts in real-world infrastructure projects in the Gulf South region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 4 to 6 years of engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer license.
• Certifications such as NHI Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges and related trainings.

Responsibilities

• Attend project meetings, prepare minutes, and develop agendas.
• Review shop drawings and respond to RFI; conduct site visits.
• Prepare plans, specs, bid packages, and project correspondence.
• Lead CAD drafters, inspectors, interns, and testing laboratories.
