Job summary

Precision Surveying & Consulting, Inc. is seeking a full-time survey support professional based in Omaha, NE. The role involves drafting staking points, preparing topographic surveys, and assisting with plans and field coordination.

You will work Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, with occasional Saturdays, under the Survey Manager. Ideal candidates have 0–3 years in a civil surveying office and proficiency with Civil 3D/Carlson and CAD programs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent certificate preferred.
• 0-3 years of experience in a civil engineering/surveying office.
• Proficient with Autodesk Civil 3D and Carlson.
• Basic CAD skills: draft lines/arcs, bearings and distances.
• Ability to draft and calculate staking points for construction projects.
• Draft topographic surveys with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the seven core values of Precision Surveying & Consulting.
• Draft staking points for construction projects and print staking documents.
• Update and maintain project information.
• Draft and plot construction layouts from plans.
• Produce topographic surveys with precise detail.
• Communicate with clients professionally and promptly.
• Attend required training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
