England-Thims & Miller, Inc. is seeking a CAD Technician to provide drafting and design support for engineers on roads, residential and commercial projects, and schools. You will transform rough designs into working CAD documents and assist with notes, cover sheets, and redlines.

Qualified candidates have a HS diploma or GED, with 0-3 years of experience and exposure to AutoCADD. Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in our collaborative

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or completion of a technical trade school in CADD, drafting or related field.
• Ability to understand relationship between project details and project goals; read/analyze/interpret complex information.

Responsibilities

• Transform initial rough product designs using CAD into working documents.
• Review and complete detailed notes, Cover Sheets, Basic redlines.
• Obtain work assignments from engineers with allocated budget.
