Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc. seeks a CAD Technician to support infrastructure design through drafting and development of construction drawings for water, wastewater, and streets. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required and in-person work is standard at this time.

The role involves collaboration with engineers and surveyors, preparing client submittals, and contributing to project documentation while expanding design capabilities and staying organized across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic site design knowledge including grading, drainage, and erosion control.
• Two years using Carlson Precision 3D or Civil 3D and drafting prep preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Utilize design software to render plans and related systems.
• Perform analyses and calculations per project requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers and surveyors on model accuracy and standards.
• Prepare project documentation for client submittal.
• Use feedback to modify designs and develop solutions.
• Provide timely technical assistance.
• Handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
