Job summary

RIC is seeking a CAD Technician to assist engineers with designing and drafting for infrastructure, roadway, and site development projects. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley PowerGeopak and a strong sense of responsibility in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing civil engineering drawings.
• Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or PowerGeopak skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley PowerGeopak in plan production.
• Communicate with project leaders through all project phases and meet deadlines.
• Prepare dimensional drawings and installation drawings for plan sets and submittal documents.
• Develop, design, and modify engineering drawings for infrastructure, roadway, and site development projects.
• Regularly communicate and collaborate with project managers before, during, and after completion of work.
• Generate quantities and estimates from plan sets.
