Job summary

Renaissance Infrastructure Consulting (RIC) in Kansas City, KS is seeking a CAD Technician to support engineers with plan production and drafting for infrastructure projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley PowerGeopak, plus strong organization and teamwork, are essential to deliver accurate drawings on tight deadlines.

You will prepare dimensional and installation drawings, collaborate with project leaders, and help generate quantities from plans.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in civil drafting preferred.
• In lieu of degree, minimum 3 years CAD experience.
• Experience preparing civil engineering drawings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bentley PowerGeopak.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley PowerGeopak in plan production.
• Communicate with project leaders through all project phases and meet deadlines.
• Prepare dimensional drawings and installation drawings for plan sets.
• Develop, design, and modify engineering drawings for infrastructure, roadway, and site development.
• Regularly communicate and collaborate with project managers before, during, and after completion.
• Generate quantities and estimates from plan sets.
