Job summary

Brazoria Drainage District No. 4 in Pearland, TX is seeking a technically skilled draftsman/engineer to perform drafting, surveying, and project support for ongoing drainage projects.

You will work under the District Engineer, handle GPS/total station data, prepare 3D surfaces, easement reviews, field staking drawings, and coordinate with field crews. Strong CAD and surveying knowledge required; Topcon experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D for 3D surfaces and plan sets.
• Experience reviewing easements and preparing field staking drawings.
• Strong surveying knowledge and ability to process GPS/total station data.
• Familiar with Topcon 3D-MC and SiteLink for machine control and data transfer.
• Project management exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft, modify, and review complex engineering plans and 3D surfaces.
• Process survey data and prepare topographic surveys and as-built drawings.
• Prepare field staking drawings for field crews.
• Develop cost estimates for materials and labor.
• Organize and manage surveying and engineering documents.
