Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an Associate Engineering Technician to support Civil engineering tasks within the APG program. The role involves assisting project teams on site development, grading, drainage, and utilities, using CAD/BIM tools to develop and modify plans, and preparing technical documentation under supervision.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma or Certificate or an Associate Degree in related design technology, with experience in Civil 3D or Bentley tools.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate required.
• Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports engineering teams under general supervision.
• Performs technical tasks with intermediate knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Uses CAD/BIM and other design tools to create and modify site development plans.
• Creates, updates, and maintains technical documentation and drawings.
• collaborates with junior technicians and other project groups to ensure deliverables meet BV standards.
