Job summary

MSU Extension is seeking an Extension Educator in the Community, Food & Environment Institute to provide statewide leadership and educational programming in land-use planning, good governance, and community vitality. Qualifications

• Master’s degree must be earned by date of hire.
• Degree in urban/regional planning or related field.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, conduct, and evaluate educational programs meeting statewide needs.
• Build positive relationships within and across organizations to promote MSU Extension and the CFEI.
• Support civil rights, inclusion, and access by removing participation barriers for diverse populations.
• Collaborate with MSU Extension staff to assess community needs and develop impactful programming.
• Communicate current research results and program updates through multiple media.
