Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Interior Designer to join our Government & Civic Practice, contributing to planning, design, and delivery of interior environments for public sector clients. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create functional, sustainable spaces that support public service while enhancing user experience.

The role requires experience with government projects, knowledge of codes, and proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD.

Qualifications

US citizen, as required for government work
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design from an accredited school
5–10 years of professional interior design experience, with government/civic projects preferred
Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office proficiency
NCIDQ certification preferred or eligible for registration

Responsibilities

Develop creative interior design concepts for government and civic projects.
Prepare space planning studies, test fits, layouts, and programming documentation.
Produce design presentations, mood boards, material palettes, finishes, and furniture specs.
Create and coordinate detailed design drawings, specs, and construction documents.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, planners, and project stakeholders through all phases.
Participate in client meetings, workshops, and design reviews to capture goals.
