County of Riverside is offering a paid Legislative Intern/Youth Advisory Council (YAC) Coordinator internship based in Moreno Valley with an 18–20 hour week and two-year length. The role supports the Board of Supervisors Office and Riverside County Youth Commission by organizing a district Youth Advisory Council, coordinating civic events, and assisting with legislative and youth development activities.

Formación

• GPA 2.5 or higher required.
• Currently enrolled as Sophomore/Junior in a Bachelor's program, or in a Master's program.
• WIOA eligibility required.
• Must reside within one of Riverside County's five districts.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitating YAC meetings and preparing agendas and minutes
• Coordinating youth participation in Youth in Government Day and Youth Summit
• Recruiting and onboarding student members
• Supporting district events
• Tracking attendance and service hours
• Communicating with schools and families
• Serving as a liaison between youth leaders and County leadership
