Job summary

The Ohio State University’s Salmon P. Chase Center for Civics, Culture, and Society is seeking a Student Recruiter who will work with the Center’s Assistant Director to drive outreach and recruitment for degrees, programs, and courses.

The recruiter will target K-12 and Ohio State students from diverse backgrounds, visiting schools and coordinating recruitment events both on and off campus. The role requires travel up to 4-8 days per month, occasional overnight travel up to 12 times a year, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to travel regionally on a regular basis.
• Experience with K-12 classical/liberal arts education is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead outreach and recruitment for the Center’s degrees, programs, and courses.
• Recruit students from K-12 schools and diverse backgrounds.
• Plan and execute recruitment events on and off campus.
• Travel regionally (4-8 days/month; up to 12 overnight trips/year).
• Collaborate with schools, families, and stakeholders.
