North Central College in Naperville, IL invites applications for a full-time Coordinator for Civic and Cultural Engagement to support experiential learning and civic engagement initiatives.

The role partners with faculty, staff, and external organizations to manage programs, communications, and assessments, fostering community partnerships and volunteer opportunities. Evening/weekend work may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and speaking with attention to formatting and grammar.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills for working with students, staff, faculty, and community partners.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks, monitor progress, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Experience telling the story of experiential learning through social media and written communications.

Aufgaben

• Support the Assistant Provost in planning, implementation, and assessment of Community-Engaged Learning and other initiatives.
• Develop and maintain community partnerships, manage records, and expand place-based learning opportunities.
• Coordinate efforts to apply Federal Work-Study funds for work and internship opportunities.
• Chair scholarship committees and supervise student volunteers.
• Support the Washington Internship Institute program and student advising.
• Assist with planning and executing the College’s Cultural Events Series.
• Manage external partnerships, contracts, and hospitality for events and centers.
• Support program evaluation and data collection related to engaged learning.
