Job summary

The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce seeks a Programs Coordinator for Civic and Community Initiatives. You will support programs aligned with the chamber's strategic plan and work with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful experiences.

Responsibilities include leading talent initiatives, coordinating trade missions, and supporting awards and quarterly programs, with a focus on measurable results and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree and at least 2 year’s relevant experience required.
• Strong professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Client-service focus and ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the KC Chamber’s Talent initiative and successor programs.
• Collaborate with Public Policy to scope initiatives and plan deliverables.
• Manage volunteer committees including planning, facilitation and convenings.
• Develop, deliver and evaluate content and results for programs.
• Refine and evolve program experience to ensure sustainability.
• Execute biennial trade mission and Catalyst experiences with logistics and content.
• Support quarterly State of Series program with speakers and moderators.
• Support annual ATHENA awards program and related events.
• Assist Chamber events, programs and members as needed to support revenue.
