Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required with CT teaching credential in special education.
• Masters degree preferred for certain positions per district policy.
• Experience with IEP development and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement IEP goals through assessment of each student.
• Develop an integrated, developmentally focused classroom structure.
• Collaborate with staff and parents to support student needs.
• Maintain student records and required district reports.
• Deliver multi-modality instruction and behavior management.
• Participate in staff development and curriculum development.
