The New York City Police Department’s Department Advocate's Office seeks a City Research Scientist II to join a team of analysts. You will assist executive staff with disciplinary tracking, trend analysis, and database projects while developing Power BI dashboards and presenting findings to non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities include monitoring metrics, identifying demographics, and collaborating with attorneys to build process flows.

The Department Advocate's Office, under the direction of the Deputy Commissioner, is responsible for the prosecution of disciplinary cases against members of the service both uniform and civilian. The goal of the unit is to ensure that disciplinary matters are resolved in a fair, unbiased and transparent way for all parties involved.
The Office is seeking a City Research Scientist Level II who will work with a team of analysts. As a member of the team, the City Research Scientist II will be responsible for assisting the executive staff with the following:
