The City of Justin seeks a communications professional responsible for development and management of city communications across web, print, and social platforms. You will craft engaging content, maintain branding, and collaborate with staff to inform residents about programs and services.

Must hold a related degree, have strong writing and editing skills, and use data to shape narratives and measure impact.

• Develops and implements media, communications, and public relations strategies.
• Writes and edits content; ensures it is clear, compelling, and properly distributed across web, mobile and social platforms; and adheres to a consistent brand philosophy.
• Uses data and research to shape narratives and create content experiences tailored to the target audience.

Responsabilités

• Develops and implements media, communications, and public relations strategies.
• Writes and edits content; ensures it is clear, compelling, and properly distributed across web, mobile and social platforms; and adheres to a consistent brand philosophy.
• Works with supervisor to support the development of plans for new and innovative content for other departments, individuals, or groups.
• Performs updates and maintenance to the city website and social platforms.
• Proofreads and edits content, updates information as needed prior to public release.
• Uses qualitative and quantitative data and research to shape narratives and create content experiences tailored to the target audience.
