Job summary

Candidates should have at least six months of relevant experience and a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a valid driver's license and CPR/First Aid certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least six months of work experience.
• Training: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade.
• License: Driver's license (valid).
• CPR and First Aid certificates (valid).
• Knowledge: General grounds maintenance, janitorial maintenance, hand tools, power tools, basic safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain parks, playgrounds, restrooms; repair sprinklers and lines; operate groundskeeping tools.
• Maintain City buildings and properties; provide janitorial services; clean trash and dust surfaces.
• Follow proper safety precautions; respond to emergencies and inquiries from the public.
• May assist in other maintenance work and attend safety/training sessions.
• Set up rooms for meetings/events and maintain inventory for City buildings.
